Dear NervePro Patients

We want to inform you that our office is still open, and we are available to care for your neurological needs. Under Governor Newsom’s recent executive order, he makes it clear that “Californians must have access to such necessities as food, prescriptions, and health care.” In accordance with these guidelines, we feel it is out duty to continue to provide our patients with safe, quality, neurological care.

As we seek to provide this care, we are taking unprecedented precautions to keep you and our staff safe during this period of increased concern. Please note the following points as we work together in this effort.

  1. Virtual/video telehealth visit: we are offering telehealth visits if you are unable to come to the office or concerned about the safety of additional human contact during the virus danger. To use this service, you will need to have access to a smartphone or computer with a camera. This is an excellent option for those whose visits are followup, or physical examination is less necessary. When making appointments or calling to remind you of an upcoming visit, this option will be discussed in more detail.
  2. If you have fever, respiratory symptoms, or are otherwise sick, please call to reschedule your appointment, or make it a tele-health visit.
  3. If you have had contact with an individual know to have coronavirus, please call to reschedule your appointment or use the tele-health option.
  4. We have soap and water and sanitizer for use in the office, as well as when entering the building, and Hoag staff will question your infectious health status. Hoag, and our staff is taking extra care to sanitize our office with medical grade disinfectant throughout the day.
  5. If the pandemic reaches a sufficient level, we may temporarily revert to all visits being through tele-health, and work from home.
  6. Those visits that require your presence, such as EMG/NCV procedures or some physical examinations will be preferentially scheduled in the morning hours when other physicians and their patients are less likely to be present.
