About Dr. Bruce Cleeremans
Dr Bruce Cleeremans has been practicing in Orange County since 1982 after graduating from Lawrence University with honors in biology and completing medical school and an adult neurology residency at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis campus. He is active in the Orange County and California Medical Associations, as well as the Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is Board Certified both by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and his Electrodiagnostic Lab is one of the few Accredited by the AANEM in southern California.
He is on the staff of Hoag Hospital. He has been selected as one of the best doctors in America by BestDoctors.com annually since 2001. Patient encouragement of him to participate in the annual Bay-to-Bay Multiple Sclerosis bikethon in 2013 started him cycling, he also golfs and plays tennis. Exercise has been shown to be one of the best deterrents for dementia and he encourages all of his patients to lead active and healthy lifestyles as one of the best ways to prevent the degenerative diseases that arrive in people’s senior years.
